Today is my Dad’s birthday. I made a keychain for my dad. My sister painted a picture. We also made a card for him. My mom and I made cakes. Chocolate cake! I didn’t eat yet. And we had noodles for dinner. My birthday’s next in June.

Today I went to the H.R. MacMillian Space Centre with my class. The first part was called Harold’s Solar System. A robot called Harold projects pictures on the round roof! Also, the motion simulater is really cool. But when I was on that ride, I almost fainted! It was so realistic! And loud. Everything else was boring. I also made a solar system bag/hat/whatever. Bo-ring! I had fun, but now I’m done.
Today I’ve made pumpkin cake! First, I poured half cup water in a medium sized bowl, cracked 2 eggs(oh, the goo!) and put 1/3 vegetable oil in the bowl. Then I put the pouch in the bowl. Then, I mixed (It’s so gooey!) !!!! In mid-stir, my mom told me to preheat the baking oven. I did. When I finished stirring, I poured the batter in the pan which is “prepared”. I put on oven mitts and put the pan in the the oven. I remembered the time I should turn the oven off. Later, my mom told me to turn the oven off and take the pan out to cool. When it cooled, my mom popped the cake out to cool on the edges. When it cooled (finally!) my mom put cream on the top of the cake. But sadly, I don’t have sprinkles. It tasted awesome! And the thought that I made it made it taste awesomer! Does the picture look tasty? It smelled so, so, so, so goooooooooooooooooood!!! And tasted!
Yesterday me and my mom made a quilt. Gloria helped for a while, then got bored. Because we don’t have a sewing machine, we sew using needles and white thread. There are 73 pieces of fleece squares. The package says:Kit contents:25 print fleece 9″x10″ rectangles, 24 solid blue(colour 1#)fleece 9″x6″ rectangle, 24 solid pink(colour 2#)fleece 9″x6″ rectangles(Layout diagram: 1=print rectangle, c1=colour 1 rectangle, c2= colour 2 rectangle). It took 5-6 hours(including dinner)to do the whole thing! I got poked numbers of times, but only once I was bleeding. Why I wrote about this? Because it was my first time to use a needle!!!! There might be a picture of the quilt, too.
Today is Sunday. Tomorrow is Spring Break(Monday). I wonder what I am going to do. Maybe I am going to make bead necklaces or bracelets. Or sit and read. Or watch TV. Or play Wii. Or play Bunco. It’s a dice rolling game. What do you do? My sister can play for hours! (Or decades)I play for awhile, then rest for a few minutes or 1 hour. My sister plays for a long time, then rest for up to 10 minutes!
Barbie is 50 years old. Not exciting, right? Barbies are just girlie girl toys, right???? Wrong. Barbie has not married and she is 50. She just shows her gown off, thats all. Barbies are also models for real people clothes. (I think so. . .)And Ken dolls. Any other Barbie or Ken information will be accepted as a comment. Thank you. (Wayyyy tooooo serious!) My uncle is younger than Barbie! Barbie came out in 1959. There is a Barbie game called Barbiegirls, and there are 180000 registered girls playing Barbiegirls. I will play later. Enough stuff.
