The next day, Lanie and Medy ate breakfast and flew to the tree. Landing perfectly at the door, Markee let them in and they headed toward THE Room. This time, Jle and Kaard were there, too, with Warshi and Meerh. Markee was staying today. Chervy Ann smiled, and said,”Welcome, Laneelella and Meredith. As you can see, almost the whole Council has assembled today, in your honor.” She paused. “Or in your un-honor. . . “,finished Jle. 1 hour later. . .
“In conclusion to our meetings, you are allowed to see each other if you do not tell anyone about us,”Chervy Ann paused dramatically, and continued,”and we ask you a great favor.” “What now?”Medy questioned. “Actually, Marianne asked you guys. Meredith. Please be Ane’s friend. It will be much simpler to us, and you don’t need to keep any secrets. But she might appear quite headstrong sometimes, but, she’s not the only one. . . “,Kaard’s voice trailed off. Medy felt very relieved and went straight to Lanie”s house. Weeks later, Medy and Ane went to the woods to Lanie’s home. Starting from that day, they always thought of totally crazy ideas to play and make together.
What a happy ending! so. . .
THE END

So they sat. Medy looked around and saw a imp wearing a soften bark suit and a fairy wearing a bell shaped petal dress, with a green stem belt. The imp’s name was Mister Meerh Petunia, and the fairy was Missus Warshi Queen. Warshi saw Medy and snickered, thinking Who does this human think she is? Meerh tapped his piece of charcoal, stood up, and said,”Medy, dahhhling, I’ve heard you do not have any friends besides Lanie, right?” Nod, nod. “Why do you want to be Lanie’s friend, not Ane, eh? She is Lanie’s friend’s human. Like you guys! Sadly, Marianne, the angel, was banished.” Cackle, cackle. Lanie suddenly realized what they were getting her into, since Marianne went to the library yesterday. “No, she isn’t ,ah, banished.” Chervy Ann sorta paled, but spoke again about Ane and Marianne, thinking up millions more horrible punishments. Warshi then, given a signal by Chervy Ann, said that they could come tomorrow, to talk more about it, and the rest of the council will discuss it. Lanie breathed a sigh of relief and they flew back to Lanie’s home. As they ate mint pie and bark tea, Medy brought up the subject of Ane. “Um, Lanie, did you know that Ane is my, well, Science partner? Yes, I know, unbelievable. Whenever I mention magic, her eyes light up, and she tells me she met a magician. I guess Marianne was the “magician”!” Medy smiled in spite of herself. She walked over to the bookshelf and found a story called ‘The Fairy Angel’. She settled down and read it. The next day . . . .
To be continued tomorrow or so. . . .

When they met by the tree, they hurried inside the the door where they wrote their names on the guestbook. Then, they sat on the nutshell and leaf-lined chairs and waited. 2 fairies sat and chatted about the latest new hairstyle. 4 imps added their names on a cork board, while 8 other angels read the magazines on the shelf. A boy angel ina uniform walked in and looked at a similar guestbook and read Medy and Lanie’s names. “Follow me to the Room.”he said. They stood up and hurried after him. Into the Room they went. Carefully. But when they reached the Room’s doors, Markee, the boy, turned to the wall on their right, opened the fire alert light and put in a secret password.”This is THE Room”, he said. He grinned, and they walked in. Medy was amazed. Lanie was still thinking about what’ll happen now then being surprised. “Welcome to the Council, I am Chervy Ann, the president of the Council.

Now, when Medy made a promise with Lanie, she had problems with the poorest person in the class, Dieny. Most people think poor people are shy, but this one was bossy, sort of like a bully. Whenever Medy was totally miserable from Dieny, she went to Lanie. So when Lanie had a sad face, when she went to visit, she knew something was wrong. “Lanie, what’s wrong?”, asked Medy. Lanie didn’t answer; she just tossed Medy a paper. ‘Dear Laneelella(So that’s her real name, thought Medy), The chipmunks heard you have a visitor, a human, no? Well, tell her to KEEP OUT, because the human is most likely to tell someone the secrets of the Angels in the Woods. We are quite concerned about our territory; we don’t want intruders spreading stories about us and our place(How dare they think Medy would even think of doing that, Lanie silently fumed.). We hope to never, ever, ever, ever, ever, EVER hear of this again. With Our Best Regards, The Circle of Angels Council.’
What!!, raged the voice in Medy’s head. “Well, I can never see you. What can we do?” The angel and Medy had grown to be the greatest of friends, and now Lanie was speaking with tears in her eyes. “We could”, suggested Medy,”talk to the Council.” Lanie snorted. As if! But it’s a pretty good plan, nonetheless, thought Lanie. “Okay, meet me tomorrow by the eighth tree on the left beside the green stump on the right.” “Great, see you there, Lanie!” Lanie waved and smiled weakly. The next day. . . .

Medy looked in and saw. . a human-like tiny being in the big tree. The being was a metre tall. The thing was using the inside of the tree as a house without harming it. The “tree house” had a door a metre-and-a-half tall. Medy stepped closer to the tree and used her knuckle to knock. Knockitty knock knock. “Hello?”,asked a deep lady-ish voice. The tiny being opened the door and said,”Oh, a visitor! Come in, come in.” “How?”, asked Medy. The being winked and Medy shrank until she was as small as the being. “Ho, who are you? I’m Lanie, the angel in the tree.” “I-I’m Meredith. . .”, Medy stammered. Especially since the angel was so pretty. She had blue and pink hair which she put a flower petal fabric hat, and she wore a green leaf tunic with a woven grass belt. Her shoes were made from plastic. She had never felt so awed, so surprised, amazed, all those words and beyond. Lanie offered Medy a cherry tart with a cherry the size of a apple. Yes, Medy nodded. Meanwhile, Lanie was scribbling on a piece of paper made from peach-skin. “What’s that?”, asked Medy. “Oh, this?” Medy nodded “That’s a paper for the “Weekly Forest”. I basically do the fortune and advice column.” After they talked, ate tarts and chestnut milk, Medy heard the bell ring, and asked her angel to change her back(Medy said she will try to visit everyday, if Lanie was her angel, like a fairy godmother. They agreed upon that.) One day, when she went to the house, she found Lanie with a unhappy face, and when she found out, everything will change. .
To be continued about a few hours later. . . .

As Medy sat in her seat by the window (’twas summer, so it was HOT!!). Her teacher taught them geometry. And decimals. Or, at least, trying to. The students were excited for Runaway Day, which is a day they can go everywhere in and around the school, including the out-of-bounds place. Medy was excited only so she can explore the place. When the day came, Medy headed straight to where the forest with the crooked, old tree. When she got there, she put her hand on the first tree and looked inside. “Whoa”, she breathed. She expected to see trees all crowded in, making no space for a living to go through. Instead, she saw trees making a cave-like structure and many, many paths. She took a few steps and saw. . . .

After, Medy was called to her father’s workroom. Medy ran upstairs and turned to the third room on the left. “Meredith, we are moving.” her mother said flatly. What did mom say, she wondered.
She ran downstairs as fast as she could to tell her grandma. Her grandma wasn’t too happy about Medy’s parent’s move. “I’ll talk to your parents and see what I can do.”said her grandma. As much as Medy’s grandma tried, she couldn’t get them to change their mind.
In July, they moved. From Alsoh to Olik. Medy was happy to have her own room than sharing with her older brother Kelsey.
The next day, it was time to go to school. For Medy, starting sixth grade at a new school wasn’t a good idea. Luckily, she got the best teacher, but the worst seat. . .
A week later, Mr.Vlackan brought it back to Anie and Amee, saying,”It is a example of the land Eckomalaneed(EE-koh-ma-lan-eed) in the year 1000. They often sold these to get money.

They searched the house. Up, down, in circles, just about everywhere they checked, they just couldn’t find the jar. As they went to the garden, the flower that held the red rock was much bigger, and was now holding the jar! The girls picked it up. “I didn’t remember it here.”, whispered Amee. “I put it on my desk, though. . .”answered Anie. Before rubbing the rock onto the jar, they examined the bottom of the jar. Amee noticed a a weird symbol that looked like a dark green smudge. She poked it lightly, and glitter fell out. “Amee!!”she exclaimed. When all the glitter was out, she saw a pouch that was full of water! “Quick! The stone!”Anie grabbed it and stuffed it up the pouch. Well, they thought, why do we need the moonstone?
The next day, they rushed to the bookstore and got the moonstone, and went home speedily. Suddenly, as they were wondering what to do with it, Amee used the stone as a magnifiying glass and found a green bubble-like thing. She pressed it closed and Anie poured a bit of water in. This time, it stayed there! Wow, they thought. Amee let go and it went into the pouch. Amee then put the moonstone there. The two stones stayed there and kept the liquid from going everywhere. “Tomorrow we will go to the museum. See if it’s part of history.”said Amee.

Anie looked at the curvy lime green container and wondered for the thousand time, why is it empty? Yesterday she checked for cracks or other stuff so liquid could leak, since the day before that she poured water in, and it disappeared! But there were none. And when the water was gone, the inside of the jar was perfectly dry, so it couldn’t have evaporated. “Dinner’s ready!!” She set the jar down and walked to the dining room. Suddenly, as she stomped down the stairs, she thought she heard someone say: Find the red stone in your garden, and rub it on the bottom of the jar. Then go to the bookstore, and, on the lime green book, grab the moonstone then put it on the red mark you made. . .
Anie managed to get all the information in.
The next day, Anie went to her twin, Amee, and told her about what she heard. Surprised as she was, she followed Anie to the garden. When suddenly, Amee saw a sparkly red oval on the biggest dandelion. She plucked it off and motioned for Anie to follow her. They looked for the jar. But it wasn’t there anymore.

To be continued. . . .
