Anella, after helping out the chicken killing process, decided to read over her work.
But she had to do it, for the sake of Ulysses. What a great sentence, she thought. When suddenly, she noticed a bloody fingerprint in the bottom-right corner. She sniffed it, and it smelled mystical. But why, why in the earth would a fingerprint be on her work, and why would it be a bloody one? She checked her own hands, but their wasn’t a trace of blood on her hands. She shrugged to herself, and continued writing.
Eloise had to find a mancer to kill it, obviously. If she gets hurt, she will end up like Ulysses. Fortunately and unfortunately, a mancer appeared in the tent. And Eloise killed him flat with one of her ballet moves. Ulysses looked glad, and bid farewell to her. He hoped to get out soon, his mind to go to the outside world, hoping for the mancers to leave. Back outside, Eloise told Mama Lih and Papa Vak (The kindly couple) and Nanny all that happened to him, and she planned to go back soon, if possible, to fight every one of them until they were all gone. But how to get Ulysses himself out?
