Paradise (6)

Anella, after helping out the chicken killing process, decided to read over her work.

But she had to do it, for the sake of Ulysses. What a great sentence, she thought. When suddenly, she noticed a bloody fingerprint in the bottom-right corner. She sniffed it, and it smelled mystical. But why, why in the earth would a fingerprint be on her work, and why would it be a bloody one? She checked her own hands, but their wasn’t a trace of blood on her hands. She shrugged to herself, and continued writing.

Eloise had to find a mancer to kill it, obviously. If she gets hurt, she will end up like Ulysses. Fortunately and unfortunately, a mancer appeared in the tent. And Eloise killed him flat with one of her ballet moves. Ulysses looked glad, and bid farewell to her. He hoped to get out soon, his mind to go to the outside world, hoping for the mancers to leave. Back outside, Eloise told Mama Lih and Papa Vak (The kindly couple) and Nanny all that happened to him, and she planned to go back soon, if possible, to fight every one of them until they were all gone. But how to get Ulysses himself out?

Paradise (5)

As Anella sharpened her quills, a strange vision popped into her mind. Ulysses was crying in his sleepless sleep. Eloise, when she found the herb medicine paste, went back to Ulysses, and smeared it onto his wound. He squirmed for a second, then he stopped. When Eloise finished spreading it, The wound glowed. Suddenly, Anella decided to write it all down, all she could see, and more. Eloise felt strange, and she felt herself getting sucked into the wound. She screamed, and she felt herself being carried to his inner mind and soul. There, she saw him. Ulysses was clinging onto the roof of a mancer mansion, and he looked peaked. Eloise helped him down. He couldn’t get the mancers out of his mind, says him. Eloise said that how coud she get out, and Ulysses said to kill a mancer. Shocked, shocked Eloise. But she had to do it, for the sake of Ulysses.

Ane stopped. She would write more soon. But no one knew, not even her, that a secret person was reading her story.   .   .   .   .   .

Paradise (4)

After a great dinner of lobster and cheese, and a nights’ sleep, Anella had more ideas. She woke quite early, and began writing:

When Eloise and everyone else realized his wound was magic-made, they wondered how to take the magic away for the scar to heal properly. Meanwhile, in Ulysses’ mind, mancers asked him to “become one of us”. Though the mancers bribed him in every way they could, with every thing goodly, like being able to eat raw meat other than sooshi(special raw fish from SpringParadise). But Ulysses’, though he wanted to try raw meat without getting sick, realized his life as a slave was better. He wasn’t exactly a slave, anyway. He was a hired boy. Anyway, he wanted to go back to Eloise. Out of Ulysses’ mind, Eloise saw him twitch under the covers, as if still conscious. Eloise went to get the herbice to give it to Ulysses. And….

As it was the next day, it was morning, and she went off to school.

Paradise (3)

Surprisingly, at tea-time, Anella had tons of inspiration from her mother and her cousin Luella. Luella kept dripping milk and strawberries on her new linen kerchief. She used it as a napkin. Her mother tried to clean her, and as a result, the milk and tea, and juice, mixed into a mess. And it looked kind of pretty. Her mother suddenly groaned. Anella woke from her thoughts. Her mother’s dress was splattered with icing, tea, and some kind of blue liquid. Luella was laughing. Anella fled from the room. She began to work.

Here is a story about the Place of Paradise. Well, actually, more about it. There was a slave boy, and he was working for a rich couple. They, luckily, were kindly people, very generous. The boy’s name was Ulysses. Ulysses had seen Eloise, Madame Eloise before, and he liked her. Alot. He knew she liked him too, so everything was perfect. Until one day, twelve mancer bosses came, and invaded the kind-hearted couple’s leaf home. Ulysses grabbed the kettle of boiling water and flung in unto the mancers. Every one of them shriveled and melted, creating a rainbow liquid on the floor. Unfortunately, Ulysses had a cut on his shoulder. It wasn’t deep, but it was long. Eloise was down-hearted. And so was everybody else.

Anella stopped abruptly. What else was there to write? Oh yes, the special healing. And much more. She decided to bring some pencils and quills home from school soon.

Paradise (2)

On her wagon ride to school, she thought about what to write. She had stopped at houses, and them part about how it provides them with all they need. Deep, deep, sigh. At school, Miss Colette was teaching them “sums”. Harder ones, now that she is in Level Six. 187 plus 457. AAAgh. Wish school was over, Anella thought. Diing! Wagon bell! Anella grabbed her small sack and ran to the wagon. In she stepped. Bump, bump, bump. Anella wished she could get home quicker, instead if the usual fifteen minutes. The wagon stopped, and people stumbled out. Anella managed to get out first, and she hurried to her “shack home”. And got up the stairs to her room. And started writing. Sometimes, there are huge fungi houses. Evildoers called mancers live in them. They never win, though. But there was a horrid war before, AND NO ONE SPEAKS OF IT. So, it will not be told here.

Anella was hungry, and her mind was dried up. Sooooo… And it was teatime. She glanced at the paper. And she went for tea.

Paradise (1)

It was a dreary winter day, and Anella was bored. Suddenly, she had an idea. She crept up the stairs, wearing her fur cape. She sat at her writing table, and took out a sheet of paper. As she rummaged through her drawer, she dreamed of a warm spring day. It hardly ever was warm where she lived, even in summer. And so, she wrote about it. The Spring. That was the title. She began writing. The Spring. In the place of Spring, it is always the same season; Spring! The sun always shines, even if it is raining, creating a rainbow every time it rains. They also never have to go shopping for food, because it never runs out. She paused. And wished that part was true. The people don’t live in houses, because the forest they live in provides them with everything they need. Ding! Anella heard the sound of the daily wagon. She leapt up and went out.

La’an’s Journey

Once, in a garden of multicoloured flowers, Lady La’an followed Queen Sanwee.”What a great day!”,declared the Queen. “Yes, it is.”, murmured all the ladies. Then they assisted Queen Sanwee to her chambers. The ladies were then excused, and they went to their own rooms. La’an went to the room the astrologers worked, and sat at one of the tables. Minca, one of the younger astrologers, then went to La’an and asked her,”La’an, Princess Cala wants someone to go to Paris, France. Do you mind looking at the map to see how far it is from East China?”

The Angel in the Tree(7)

The next day, Lanie and Medy ate breakfast and flew to the tree. Landing perfectly at the door, Markee let them in and they headed toward THE Room. This time, Jle and Kaard were there, too, with Warshi and Meerh. Markee was staying today. Chervy Ann smiled, and said,”Welcome, Laneelella and Meredith. As you can see, almost the whole Council has assembled today, in your honor.” She paused. “Or in your un-honor. . . “,finished Jle. 1 hour later. . .
“In conclusion to our meetings, you are allowed to see each other if you do not tell anyone about us,”Chervy Ann paused dramatically, and continued,”and we ask you a great favor.” “What now?”Medy questioned. “Actually, Marianne asked you guys. Meredith. Please be Ane’s friend. It will be much simpler to us, and you don’t need to keep any secrets. But she might appear quite headstrong sometimes, but, she’s not the only one. . . “,Kaard’s voice trailed off. Medy felt very relieved and went straight to Lanie”s house. Weeks later, Medy and Ane went to the woods to Lanie’s home. Starting from that day, they always thought of totally crazy ideas to play and make together.
What a happy ending! so. . .
THE END

The Angel in the Tree(6)

So they sat. Medy looked around and saw a imp wearing a soften bark suit and a fairy wearing a bell shaped petal dress, with a green stem belt. The imp’s name was Mister Meerh Petunia, and the fairy was Missus Warshi Queen. Warshi saw Medy and snickered, thinking Who does this human think she is? Meerh tapped his piece of charcoal, stood up, and said,”Medy, dahhhling, I’ve heard you do not have any friends besides Lanie, right?” Nod, nod. “Why do you want to be Lanie’s friend, not Ane, eh? She is Lanie’s friend’s human. Like you guys! Sadly, Marianne, the angel, was banished.” Cackle, cackle. Lanie suddenly realized what they were getting her into, since Marianne went to the library yesterday. “No, she isn’t ,ah, banished.” Chervy Ann sorta paled, but spoke again about Ane and Marianne, thinking up millions more horrible punishments. Warshi then, given a signal by Chervy Ann, said that they could come tomorrow, to talk more about it, and the rest of the council will discuss it. Lanie breathed a sigh of relief and they flew back to Lanie’s home. As they ate mint pie and bark tea, Medy brought up the subject of Ane. “Um, Lanie, did you know that Ane is my, well, Science partner? Yes, I know, unbelievable. Whenever I mention magic, her eyes light up, and she tells me she met a magician. I guess Marianne was the “magician”!” Medy smiled in spite of herself. She walked over to the bookshelf and found a story called ‘The Fairy Angel’. She settled down and read it. The next day . . . .
To be continued tomorrow or so. . . .

The Angel in the Tree(5)

When they met by the tree, they hurried inside the the door where they wrote their names on the guestbook. Then, they sat on the nutshell and leaf-lined chairs and waited. 2 fairies sat and chatted about the latest new hairstyle. 4 imps added their names on a cork board, while 8 other angels read the magazines on the shelf. A boy angel ina uniform walked in and looked at a similar guestbook and read Medy and Lanie’s names. “Follow me to the Room.”he said. They stood up and hurried after him. Into the Room they went. Carefully. But when they reached the Room’s doors, Markee, the boy, turned to the wall on their right, opened the fire alert light and put in a secret password.”This is THE Room”, he said. He grinned, and they walked in. Medy was amazed. Lanie was still thinking about what’ll happen now then being surprised. “Welcome to the Council, I am Chervy Ann, the president of the Council. Sit down, please.” The angel that said it was wearing a petal and leaf suit, her green and purple hair in a curly bun. They sat down in seats with their name on it, and . . . . .
