Exams and The Commandments

As you can see, I’m working on titles. You know, to EXCITE people and ENHANCE/ENGAGE you guys to keep reading.

ANYWAY what I’m working on at school are: well, what we all are supposed to do, is a essay. We’re working on it step by step and it’s SO MUCH FUN. And kind of boring. But still, it isn’t that much harder than, say, changing a baby’s diaper. Also, Carol and I are sorta working on a story ( I have it right now) about gingerbread men. It’s a traditional hero saves land story, ‘cept with a sweeter twist. Get it? Ha. Ahaha.

And personal projects: there’s this story I wrote last week(end) about Moses!! Y’know, that guy in the Bible who lived to 120? It’s written in a style that seems like a kindergartener wrote it. You’ll see what I mean sooner or later. And I’ve been trying to draw Howl from Howl’s Moving Castle, and some guy that plays Go.

Drawing your favourite celebrity is hard. I wasn’t trying to make it actually LOOK like him but just his style of clothing and hairstyles. Sigh.

Oh yeah!… … … The exam part. Well, apparently I’m in this babysitting course at school, AFTER school in the staffroom with a bunch of grade sevens, one who is from South Burnaby. So far away, I guess. On Wednesdays we do work. And the exam is next week. I just HAVE to get 75%. To pass. Duy!!! Go me! ……I don’t study.

That’s all the updates for now. Some things I’ve noticed is that I start a lot of sentences with the word and.

By the way, it’s almost Baby Gabey’s B day!! And his FIRST!! D

My Science Experiment

Long time no see.
So at school, we learned about static and current electricity. Don’t ask me if I know the difference. We were required to make a electroscope. Trust me, I don’t know why it’s caled a electroscope. So anyway, Gloria and I decided to make a video of us showing people what to do with it! I was panting a little ’cause I ran up two flights of stairs. We were in our room, near the window. I messed up a bit (’cause I mess up everything) , but otherwise, it’s not so bad. That’s it. Enjoy…!

What Happened in Jan and Feb

We went skiing!! The first time was horrible and the last time was great. We only went three times. We had to get up at 5 am and leave for Whistler and 6 am. So 9 am to 2 pm is all skiing.

The third time was the best cause I saw my friends that are boys from my old school!! And Ryan was in my ski class. Paulina, as usual, wasn’t as kind to see me.

Gabriel got a haircut. You don’t want to see it.

2012 New Years Resolutions……..

I was checking my email and I saw a discussion on money. The question was: what would happen if there was no money? They predict that it might cause the end of the world. They think guns would be stolen. But if there never was any money it would be nice. You can’t just stop having money all of a sudden. The governement isn’t going to say, oh, okay, we’ll never use any money again.

Money is basic technology. If we don’t have money, we can’t possibly have guns. So. That’s about it.

Next topic (for later): 2030!!

Sulphur One Time

I’ve been reading, and most art comes out of the creators pain. The manga that I was reading is about ballet, and the ballerina in it only dances really well when she loses her grip on reality. And she loses it when she is really anxious, sad (which is most of the time), or when she completely understands something. Like a secret, or the way of interpreting a role in classical ballet. And in one volume, it says that a sculptor made this super famous statue, then dies about two days after finishing it.

Normal inspiration, like looking at a flower and thinking, hey, this is nice, and drawing or writing about it, is temporary. By that, I mean, someone looks at your finished artwork you made when you were happy and content. They think, oh, just another picture of a flower, bright and cheery, la la la. They move on to a different piece, one you made when you were really anxious and frightened, and actually feel the pain you went through while creating it. And when you make it, you don’t go, aw man, I feel terrible, I need to draw this rock, blah blah blah. You feel an actual desire to use your skill. And you lose control. So the piece you create will never be forgotten, unlike the flower, which is so light it floats away. The rock you created is so heavy, and dark, so influential, it stays in the back of your audience’s mind. They can’t stop thinking about it.

And why? Why do -wait, let me rephrase that- how can you do that? How can you create such deep feelings?? You can’t just decide to paint a jug with a angry feeling. You have to experience it. That;s a true artist.

Now, don’t go and make your own life miserable, just to make beautiful art. Or literature. It has to be genuine.

So indulge in your feelings and your skills at the same time; something good will come out of it.

Diamonds belong in the Sea

People talk about their own mortality a lot, and how they wish to be consecrated. Or something like that . Where would you like-or rather, how would you like-to be consecrated? Many people are buried, some are frozen, and the ever-traditional ashes in the sea. Or you could turn into a man-made diamond (like, really man made. Get it?), and your descendant could wear it. All the time. What would you choose. The only one which seems, I don’t know, consoling, to me, is Diamonds in the Sea.

You can visit them when you are overcome with grief, and talk to the sea. How. . . . calming.

I put 01 in case I use the title again, because it’s a good title.
ANYWAY I was thinking about forming opinions BECAUSE people like to make opinions and stuff like that. An EXAMPLE would be World War II. Think about the war. THINK!! Now what do you feel? Here’s what I feel, then: sad, mad, DEPRESSED, happy, olde, and blathed. Blathed means halfway between depressed and happy. Or something like that. I made it up . And depending on how you feel (or what the average ‘side’ your feeling are on[bad feelings, happy feelings] ), you make your opinion. AND I CAN’T. BEACAUse there is too many feelings and it’s ALL EQUAL. Look at the title.

I HAVE DECIDED: Since I simply CANNOT make a opinion, I will now just watch the world go by, and learn from it. SO SIMPLY SIMPLE. And if I CAN make a opinion, I will, uh, write it, um, HERE! YES, that was simply a DELIGHTFUL story.
